Our sincere thanks go out to Mr Michael and Mrs Geraldine Galloway who opened their garden at Ballytrustan Road, nr Downpatrick on 23/24 May.

This unique seven acre garden lies 4 miles east of Downpatrick in the countryside of Lecale where it was created by the late Dr Magill over the last five decades of the 20th century. He transformed a disused quarry into a large sheltered amphitheatre surrounded by trees and shrubs. The garden is noted for its collection of rhododendrons.
