This delightful garden started its development in 1996 when the lawns were completed with the first planting of whip trees / shrubbery taking place that Autumn. Varieties of trees planted were Oak, Beech, Birch, Lime and Ash.
Since then many other features have been established including a Follies Garden, an Arboretum, an Italian Garden, a Japanese Garden, an Arizona Garden and much, much more.
The garden is made up of 4.5 acres of lawns, 3.5 acres of shrubbery and trees, 1 kilometre of walkways and a pond with Mallard ducks. Suitable for wheelchairs.

From M1 travelling South and West
Leave M1 Motorway at Moira interchange. Drive through Moira and continue on to first major set of traffic lights in Lurgan. Take left down to mini roundabout 200 metres and take the B3 to Gilford. From the roundabout travel 2 miles approx. Follow sign to Waringstown (Dunkirk Road). After approx. half a mile you will see ‘Grovehill’ -large house on hill on left. There are four pillars in crescent form at the entrance.
From M1 travelling North bound/Belfast
Take Lurgan interchange and follow road to Lurgan centre. Pass Church of Ireland on the right. Continue on for approx. 0.75 miles to traffic lights. Turn right signposted Waringstown, Banbridge and Gilford and proceed to main roundabout approx. 200 metres. Take B3 to Gilford. From roundabout travel 2 miles approx.
